As a recent graduate from an evangelical university, my facebook feed is loaded with engagement announcements and wedding photos. Love is in the air among my young peers as they commit to a lifetime together.
Weddings are so romantic and are revered in this society. There’s something addicting about watching “Say Yes to the Dress” or making a wedding board on Pinterest. No matter when couples decide to tie the knot, I hope it’s because they understand the commitment their making and not because they’ve caught “wedding fever.” Either way, I have plenty of excuses to go dress shopping for all these weddings. Woo-hoo.
